Dr Jake Dunning
About: I am a Senior Clinical Researcher and Honorary Consultant Physician (Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine) at the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, University of Oxford. I am the Clinical Lead for the Rapid Assessment of Potential Interventions and Drugs for Ebola (RAPIDE) Trial, currently based in Liberia (Sponsor: University of Oxford; Funder: Wellcome Trust; Chief Investigator: Peter Horby; Partners: MSF, WHO, and ISARIC). I am also an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at the Centre for Respiratory Infection, Imperial College London, where I work on influenza, MERS-coronavirus, and other respiratory viruses (pathogenesis; clinical aspects; treatments). I am an active member of several working groups in the International Severe Acute Respiratory and emerging Infections Consortium (ISARIC).
