About: Mr Hamufare D. Mugauri is a public health specialist stationed at the AIDS and TB unit of the Ministry of Health and Child Care head office in Zimbabwe, responsible for programming the rollout of HIV Self Testing Programme countrywide. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Health (FETP) from the University of Zimbabwe (2017), a Post-graduate certificate in Structured Operational Research (ZIM SORT-IT) from The Union Against TB and WHO (2018), a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing Science degree from Zimbabwe Open University, Zimbabwe (2013), an International Postgraduate Paediatric Certificate (IPPC) from the University of Sydney, Australia (2014), and a Diploma in General Nursing from Mpilo Central Hospital, Zimbabwe (2008). His technical interests lie in infectious and non-communicable disease epidemiology, disease surveillance systems and operational research.
